Baid Leasing & Finance Company Ltd. (BLFCO) is a public limited company established in 1991 which first partnered with Oikocredit in 2018. The company seeks to support economically weaker sections of the society by providing quality non-banking financial services.

In 2015 BLFCO began lending to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), primarily agricultural enterprises with little or no access to other sources of finance. Oikocredit’s financial support to BLFCO is important as the ability of Indian SMEs to spur growth and foster job creation is limited by their ability to find adequate finance.
